I have never heard of a drug that makes people react like this and to this severity
If anything there's an extreme lack of evidence to support the effectiveness of these "aphrodisiacs" in the real world
This is an imaginary drug
If anything I'd think he's been poisoned and wouldn't wanna keep him out of my sight in that state
He could look like he has a fever and on the verge if a cardiac arrest rather than "he's just really horny"

I disagree, I think it’s still very obvious what this is, but I see your points so let’s go consider that. Even if that’s the case, your first thought shouldn’t be “why is he pushing me away! That’s so mean! :<“. If it was indeed poison, she still doesn’t seem to have even figured out his drink was spiked (at least it seems until he pounced on her in the carriage). And even though, yes she is worried, to me she seems much more offended about the fact that he’s keeping distance from her, jumping into all kinds of conclusions than trying to figure out what could’ve possibly caused this, WHY he is acting that way and how to solve it. If she thinks he’s poisoned, how would she even help him herself anyway? Either try to force him to go home or try to find out what was in the drink to have any chance to cure it. I doubt she’s so profound in poisons that she would know how do identify every single one based on common symptoms.
Either way, I think her behavior is weird regardless of the situation. And I do think that what is going on is pretty clear, but even if it wasn’t, she’s acting questionably to me. Being dense about dating is normal for her, but I feel like this kind of situation shouldn’t be difficult to figure out and is kinda out of character for the FL.

i'm sorry, but you apparently have been very sheltered to things going on in the real world around you. the things that are so called aphrodisiacs in the real world are play things. They are other drugs that respond like that this manga, yes. but they aren't called aphrodisiacs, they are called date R^^^ drugs. If that was cardiac arrest, he would not of made it to the carriage with how sweaty he was, he would of past out half way to the carriage, and by all standards of where medical knowledge is in this Manga, died. Why you ask? because by the looks of it and sounds of it from reading, no one knows CPR.

Yeah r drugs are the worst..they shouldnt exist both in real world and fiction world tbh... Reading plots like this might just put ideas in some ppls mind about it

To answer your point, while people are aware of the drug, the side effects visible on the front side can be easily confused with high fever or trouble with breathing. Its not that mc is naive, ml is also not saying he is drugged for mc to stay away. Eastern side of world is unaware of the usage of the drug compared to western side of world since most things like these are not talked in public

I see some of your points and I'm aware of the existence of these kinda drugs though not in depth, but as far as I'm aware "aphrodisiacs" in the context you may see online isn't a proven thing? I remember looking into that twice to make sure, that's why I said that earlier.

I have to agree with the commenter though, the MC's reaction being "he pushed me away that's so mean" was kinda frustrating and annoying, and she should've considered he may have been spiked but yeah not all cultures are the same, like the other person said the eastern side of the world including where I'm from isn't as aware of the usage of these drugs, that's why even if I was there the FIRST thing that would've crossed my mind would be "seizure" or "allergy" or "classic ML hidden disease" or something (spiking may have crossed my mind later but then again it's a fantasy world so maybe it should be expected? Yeaa awareness about r drugs is very less especially in third world countries coz it appears on news once in a blue moon here ...very few percent of population here (here as in third world countires) go clubbing or any kind of parties where the drug can be even used so not many here would be aware of it unless it appears on news

Well she attended a very reputable nobles party, who's known to be kind and generous so it might not sink in that something will terrible happen, then the symptoms shows can be interpreted with nauseousness or some, but ML start pushing her away then she felt offended by that, that's kinda ehh

I never said I was from a western country. I live in one now yes. I have also traveled a lot. And no country, no matter where you live is shielded from drugs sad to say. You might not hear about it on the news for one reason or another. Often it's because someone paid to not have it reported, in a lot of countries. Other times, the news finds other things to report, and would rather have people oblivious to the darker corners of their countries.
If you look at edicate education that is not taught much now a days. Men aren't supposed to show a weak side to a lady. All problems for men and women, are to be done behind closed doors. Only to be only known to family. She's not family, yet. He would of excused himself from any non-family members company.
I will say this about this manga, compared to some at least this one keeps people talking about it.
