I think he’s mad because the MC rejected her as a slave, which would have saved her, and instead said that she can be given to the warriors, who raped her and plucked out her eye.
Also grief makes you irrational, the prior MC and her people are actually terrible war mongerers. She’s committed countless atrocities, that’s like if you were reborn in a body of a prolific serial killer and are wonder “why people don’t like you because you changed now”.
I still have zero sympathy for that guy. He’s attacking her like she personally destroyed his family when she was a mere child. I’d get it if he was going after her father, but to go after her? Yeah, miss me with that shxt.
