Because he's giving her mixed signals and he's crossing the boundaries of their friendship, he knows she likes him and although he was honest upfront about not being able to correspond her feelings, he still kissed her!!!! And because of the other guy too!!! He doesn't want her but doesn't want her to be happy with someone else!!!!!
No yeah he says no strings attached but then kisses her and obv gets jealous like there’s obviously SOME strings attached but he won’t ever admit his feelings so it’s js frustrating
