The emperor's whole intentions towards Asha was to groom/manipulate him. Maybe not completely at first and he just was very interested in him, but definitely when he hit 16 years old and older, his goal was to groom him into liking him to the point Asha would "willingly" want to marry him.

You might think its not much of a difference if youre someome whos over idk 20 but there is a big difference in maturity and usually at the age of 12 (or older ) you are aware of the stupid shit you do
