Can someone explain why he taped his face in the last chapter??

It's not shown in the series for some reason (making it very confusing), but both He Tian and Jian Yi disappeared for several years in order to protect Mo and Xi from their families' (criminal) business. Mo Guan Shan covered He Tian's face in all their childhood pictures because he misses him so much, but was still angry over the fact that He Tian left him.
