I especially hate this trope when one of the characters legitimately viewed them as family. It feels kinda depressing coz all this time, that familial love was one-sided. It's just icky for me. I've read my fair share and forcefully forget about the sibling part but I've now grown so tired of it that I skip them altogether.
I'm down if it's well written. 'Blue, Black, Sky' is sibling to romance deliciously written ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
i havent read any other bl where they think theyre siblings then magically they're not, so link em pls, are they as interesting as BBS?
also, for clarification, you're not talking about step-siblings or adopted siblings who are obvious of this fact then turned to lovers, right? you're talking these mf genuinely thought they came out the same vagina then the author pulled a magic trick and made him non-blood related for the romance. correct? i guess it could be annoying cuz that's a plot contrivance. unless it's been hinted well throughout the story, if author pulls that magic trick outa nowhere, then that's just bad writing lol.
bro i think its so weird how authors will make romance of characters who are meant to have a sibling relationship, but then magically they're actually not related so its ok
like nahhh wth... but what do yall think
