Do y'all think the author will make Seth forgive Orisis like he has forgiven the grapist foreign god? The grapist foreign god is now Seth...friend. Maybe not friend but companion so it's kind of like...... Huh? By having the Seth become friends with the grapist foreign god defeats the purpose of why he was mad at grapist Orsis in the first place.

I really liked your explaination, it was much more in depth than what I could say but I'm so sorry you had to go through something like that. sugarplum

Life sucks, too often really early, but at least I can use some of my experience to give depth to certain plot.

Also this story is really dear to me, because of those reason. I see a lot of people complained about seeing rape displayed in media, but personally I appreciate story that show it. It is my way of coping. First because I like seeing character surmounting it, it made me reflect has well on my own experience, that the plot display is realistic or not in term of reaction. I can perfectly discern what is toxic and what is now, though I used to not to. BL help me a lot with that actually.

And finally another good thing that it brought me is seeing men in a sexual way, that is not necessary scary. Before that, I couldn't even except the vision of a naked man. Which during art school was pretty difficult during nude class. I mean all my drawing of male model were castrate because I couldn't look in that region. I was really detailed in all the muscle but the crouch region was a blank void. Reading BL at first censored help with that, and working on de-censoring BL later for this site, really help to overcome entirely my phobia. I am still a bit shy, but I am glad that I am no longer scared. So no hesitation in talking about it.

Although I wouldn't want to see rape topic erase from plots. I wouldn't mind that it show more healthy relationship, and seems that it is moving slowly in that direction, and I do believe the trop is tiring. But the fact that people can tell it is toxic, is in my eye really good.

im not saying the experience itself didnt happen, but the person i replied too just made it seem like horus was another bad rapist character when it wasnt his fault. sapphics lover

Sorry, I used the help of a translator because I have difficulties writing in english. I never meant to say that Horus did it on purpose just that this "abusing him--->becoming close" kind of relationship is the author's writing style. And that if I take a realistic point of view, Seth has gone through so much that he may have problems distinguishing healthy relationships the way we see it (But he's a fictional character so don't mind this part that much). I'll probably edit that comment later. Thanks

    I'm not changing anything now.
I was frustrated that my thoughts were misinterpreted (and the person who replied to me and I think pretty similar) but I'm so proud of the conversation that came to be after that that I can't. You are all so awesome! I'm so glad I was able to read your views on this matter.
