was just reading the novel from the start and saw stuff that glossed ovr in manhwa (understandably), one is that "Brainwash" and "Influence" mentioned in this chapter were actual names of Esper skills his brother used on him (he was a special psychological type esper). just throwing this out here bc my first reading of this chapter i was confused for a bit haha basically in past life his brother was constantly using esper skills on him and he only realized now.
