The mc is too clueless

Hm... he's a tad too much dumb for me... it would be 1 thing if he had just left his village... but for him to be like that after traveling all over with that high ranking party... even more so when he was the one cleaning their mess... it goes from funny to senseless...
A bit naive is ok but mc is too exageratedly clueless...

He’s like that on purpose though. That’s why the ninja woman (forgot her name) from his old party is following him around from the shadows. Her task is specifically to keep him clueless about how powerful he is. That’s the whole reason she was in his last party, too.

The problem for me is that it's not just about how powerful he is. Is everything... he is clueless about their social norms... about whats normal and whats not.. about value of money... and everything in general. I know that's the whole point of the comic... I understand that... it's just... not for me because it makes him seem unbelievably stupid and unlikeable as a main character... honestly at this point he feels more like a side character that everyone keeps trying to protect than a proper mc...
I was expecting him going on adventures and slowly understanding his strength and yk... finding his place in the world... instead... he lives like a flower in a greenhouse... with a bunch of women protecting him all the time from every side...
This kind of uber clueless mc is just not my cup of tea... and even with the ninja? girl it just doesn't make sense for him to be that clueless when he was the one dealing with the messes his party left around... he being like that after all that just makes you question his intelligence... like, how could he have learned nothing after years traveling around with them?
But again... its just my taste... an incompetent mc protected by a bunch of women with a lot of annoying characters and fanservice. That's my definition of this comic and not what I'm into... I felt like I wasted my time reading it. But of course everyone if free to disagree and like it...
