I think the story need more details. We need more inner thoughts of the characters to understand them more. I think we forget that the ml was a high schooler, with a lot of money yes, but just a kid. And he was an idiot but we all made mistakes when we were in high school. Maybe if the reedem act was longer and with him explaining more about himself, his changes and his "illness" the story will be way better.
