Bruh no way a childhood crush i never know how to feel about it when it's introduced so late in a story basically at the end but a lot of korean stories do it. On my hand it's cute bit on the other it feels out of nowhere and a bit cheap? sometimes. I know it's more of a cultural difference bc they hold childhood love very highly but it feels weird to hold childhood love this much and especially when you see it in all the stories. It feels like you can't ever meet a new person and fall in love and you'll end up with someone you knew (even for a moment or sometimes just once met) wjen you were young.
