one thing i will never understand is when a king or ruler is soooooooo freakin paranoid about his heir usurping his throne? i mean your heir is literally going to be the one to take over the throne when you retire or die anyway so why are you so paranoid about them "usurping" your throne?
i'd get it if the prince was just another prince or extended royal family member, but he's the freakin crown prince! he's gonna get the throne eventually anyway so why are you so scared of him "usurping" you now?!
