Do you think Osiris might have a hand in that murder too? Like he has been in love with Seth since childhood and was jealous of Horus, so he manipulated Seth into killing his lover? I mean Osiris is the king of manipulation and is obsessive over Seth. He also started a war just to get his hands on a mirror to have Seth fell in love with him, because this jerk cannot you just try normal courtship....
I wouldn't be surprised if he is behind that one too.
Also when you think of it: Three of his four siblings are in love with Seth... That is a record here if you ask me. The guy was born to be more loved than Hathor will ever be.

I don't like because it seems like Horus has never had any personality besides being his Seth booty licker. Even Seth said to Horus "you love to be on equal footing" because he always thought of Horus as this weak demigod booty licker. That was the first time Seth saw Horus as an equal. I feel like making Horus just magically forgive Seth after he cuts out his eyes and leaves him for dead is crazy especially after it took us 5 years and 183 chapters to get some type of development in their relationship. Then is Seth going to leave Horus for dead and continue the journey with Jesus after he abused him? Plus I thought they were at the point (4 years later) that Seth started to finally talk to Horus about his feeling and they do the thing were they touch each other foreheads. So is that just gone? Thats like going back to square one. Then people say Seth was always mean yet he never hit his wife Nephthy. You don't put your hands on someone your love . In the trials during season 1 it said Seth never physically hurt his wife. Even though she gave him the ultimate betrayal by having another baby with other man Seth never put his hands on her. Yet Horus told a little lie and he cuts out his eyes for it???? While Seth never put his hands on his wife because he loved her. If he willing to physical hurt Horus over his wife then that means he still has feelings for his wife. He is not angry over any lie he is specially angry the lie is about his wife. Horus would never cut out Seth eyes for Hathor. So Horus forgiving Seth for cutting outs his eyes is the ultimate booty licker. The ultimate booty licker use to be Dan from Jinx and if that happen then it will be Horus. At least the author of Jinx is finally letting making Dan stand up for his self! It feels so good to see Dan stand up to Jk. I want the same thing for Horus to finally have character development and stand up for his self to Seth, his mom, Hathor and become a king /god. Thats why people call Horus boring and they like Anbuis better because he is not a doormat like Horus. Stand up Horus! I hope that does not happen because we finally have develop after years of.....no development. LOL

I get what you may be feeling but this is what happened in the real mythology so we’re gonna have to learn to like it. But it may not happen in the way it was described by the other person . Maybe Horus or HTE stole the eye from RA or Sekhmet instead. Mojito the author often takes from the original mythology but makes it a blend if her own work which is more romantic. Horus by the way is in no way a booty licker he has expressed in the current chapter how he’s done following the footsteps of his mother for example and he expressed exactly what u described about him to Seth when Seth had asked him why he’s following him . Thats how Seth has come to like Horus. He’s expressed himself multiple times and made himself clear. Haha a guy in love can’t help himself can he

"the guy was born more loved than Hathor will ever be." The goosebumps I got because the most recent raw chapter, Osiris set Bastet on fire and threatened to kill her in front of Hathor, and told Hathor that she MUST marry Horus.
And this was AFTER she was coming to terms that he loved the same sex.
I think Osiris would do anything. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one that manipulated Seth even back then to kill him. I'm SURE it had to be that way. Seth gets very riled up if his buttons are clicked just right. He had no control over his emotions when he's so angry and frustrated.

I hope it's Horus or HTE stole the eye from RA or Sekhmet instead that other theory. Anything but that!!!!The SethxNephthy will lose their minds. I didn't know SethxNephthy had so many fans (⊙…⊙ ) Because if it's that theory people are going to be pissed. If that happens I going to be right in the comment section because it going to be wild that day. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧LOL I would love a bad boy version of Horus the elder who teaches Horus how to be more of a king/god.

Yeah I read recent raw chapter too that’s why I made that comment
But honestly Osiris is out of control with is emotion. What he feels isn’t even love. Because he loves his idea of Seth. Not Seth himself. He had no regard for what Seth and other feels. I guess being the God of life and Death comes with a need of making of empathy to make it works.
I am calling it. The same way Seth was hang up on his notion of family, Osiris was obsessed with his notion of love.
He fell in love with Seth before they were God. But Seth loved Horus. He got jealous and plotted to have Seth killed Original Horus. Or even worse make Seth believe he killed his lover while in fact it was Osiris doing.
Seth got so emotionally unstable that he clang to his family. But Nephthys beat Osiris to fill the space by Horus. While Isis who also loved her brother deeply (after all she built a temple in his honour) put the ashes in her womb to preserve him.
Then they all forgot. Except Osiris. I am sure he remembers Horus. The Osiris seeing Seth find a new life with Nephthys went seek for a way to reverse that. Went to the library, killed everyone in the process overnight, then find out about the mirror and to cover his track destroyed all evidence.
Then went to start a war against Ra to retrieve the Mirror and get Seth to love him. Except that once again Nephthys altered his plan and was the one that fell in love with him. I think he deal with Nephthys was a cruel punishment toward her to dare step in his way, especially unknowingly as it was pretty insulting when you think of it to accept without showing a single emotion while taking away from her the power of creation. That then used on Seth especially after he heard from Nephthys that Seth thought that a child was proof of a couple's love.
Not to mention that his plan to take the result of that deal, Anubis, to create a completely different child with Seth was barely his sociopathic way of confirming his love. That Seth was on board or not.
Now about the part I am still debating over is how they lost their memories. I am hesitating between this happening because they all elevated to godhood and lost their memories in the process. But I doubt about that because the memory loss seemed to have happened after they became god. The temple Isis built to Seth glory which Seth and even herself forgot. And they wouldn’t have temples if they weren’t already gods. All three seems to be affected by memory loss except Osiris, so maybe Osiris was already a god then the three other followed.
But once again the temple seems to existed before it happens. Plus I highly doubt if Seth loved HTE he would have refuse to forget him to become a god. Even to free himself from the pain of his grievance. That is not who he is.
So the second theory is that Isis used her magic to erase their memories. And here is why I think that:
Her magic is potent enough to have an effect on them all even Osiris. She also cared deeply about Seth and probably seeing him suffer made her choose to erase his memory. Except if they all remember but him, it would take the risk to have Seth remember it all. It also possible that the death of their brother affected all of them negatively, so for their preservation, she chose to erase their memories as well with something along the line of “all the pain cause by which you love and miss will be erased”.
Seth forgot everything because how deep his love was, Nephthys forgot as well to erase all the pain caused to Seth and what linked to it which was Horus, Isis somewhat forgot as well but not her will to protect Horus, which she carried with her to this days, and either she forgot the ashes in her womb knowing that thanks to that Horus would reborn when her and Osiris would have child or she remembered it and given birth to Horus was a way to get back at Osiris. I highly doubt she would have cast a spell that could have taken the risk to make her enterly forgot everything about her dead brother and the ashes in her, but we never know.
Isis probably didn’t know about Osiris involvement in Horus death, but I bet she kept some trace of him in her memory, seeing that she renamed her son after her late brother. But maybe she only forgot that Seth loved Horus. Which is why she was disgusted seeing Seth in love with Nephthys. And only remembered he killed him or was linked to his death. Like I said: all the pain from the loved one that is missed shall be forgotten. Not the person itself.
And the freaking goblin forgot nothing because neither did he loved Horus nor did he miss him after his death.
Now to Seth and Horus the elder theory. I bet the manipulation in Horus involved making Seth believe Horus cheated on him or was faking loving him.
Which is probably traumatized Seth to the point of marking deep in him the need to build a family and have a child. You know to conform to a conservative mindset just to protect himself. He may have forgotten his pain of loss but not the desire of family unity. And once the object of his love was gone, he convinced himself than that void should filled with something all his in couple have displayed. Osiris might have thought that Horus gone he would easily fill the gap but he wasn’t planning on the choc being so intense that it would do a 180 on Seth vision toward his definition of love and couple. Probably making him more obsessed. He thought it would easy being the only make around but no. Osiris was so little in Seth’s radar that he turned to Nephthys instead was safer.
And at last. My reason to believe that Osiris hasn’t forgotten about Horus the elder is because he barely is interested in Horus nor he interacts with him. He only react when Horus get to close to Seth has if he fears that at any moment Horus could yet again win over Seth seeing how made for each other they were.
His rage is so palpable when Horus is stuck in the temple with Seth. And is doing everything he can to separate them. But he barely interact to prevent the caravan guys to rape Seth. He still punish them but still let it happen while he evidently could have stop them before seeing what he did to them. He even used them to break Seth to return to him when he tried to be his saviour. But when Horus crosses the line, suddenly he is everywhere. He send Anubis, he uses Bastet and later will threaten Hathor to take Horus so far away from Seth that he can no longer be involved with his lovely brother. That guy HATE Horus and wants him gone.
And at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if my theory about Isis reading their memory if it wasn’t another ploy of Osiris to make blank slate of Seth memories to get what he wants.
Sorry if it is a bit long. But that was a lot to put into words. And thank for reaching that far.

LOL, yeah they are annoying. I want the author to make Seth have a conversation with his wife before he finally picks Horus. The story makes if seems like Seth still have feeling for wife especially once he finds out his wife never betrayed him. Once he finds that out how is his feeling going to be for her because Seth still kind of wants his old family back. Seth and his wife need to have a conversation to clear the air. I want it to be showcased in a way that we all know why Seth chooses Horus over his wife/old family and....... it all makes sense. It has to be in a way that we know Seth loves Horus more/enough that he is willing to leave his old family that he been wanting this whole time.

Yup one hundred percent. I’d like the theory that Seth and HtE were a thing before nepthys and Seth were a thing. And that had smth to do with Osiris doing smth over jealousy which led to HTE’ reincarnation as Horus. That would be rlly nice and ofc Seth and Neph needs to clear the air. I hope the theory about Neph liking someone else is also true so those fans can stop T^T

My bad everyone, I fear I am spamming here, but I read back what I wrote on my last comment and it is so full of grammar errors and missing words, I can’t leave like that. You don’t have to read it again, because it is long, but for new commentators, I prefer to leave a better version (And I really wish we could edit comment here.) Also I added extra though in it for the curious.
The correction:
Osiris is out of control with is emotion. What he feels isn’t even love. Because he only loves his idea of Seth. Not Seth himself. He had no regard for what Seth - or anyone for that matter - feels. I guess being the God of Life and Death needs to come with a lack of empathy to make it works. Otherwise, nobody would ever die.
But I am calling it. The same way Seth was unhealthy hanged up on his notion of family, Osiris is obsessed with his notion of love. Actually all siblings suffers from the same obsessive stubbornness when you think of it. Maybe it is the flaw that show the decline of Deities in the universe: Closer to men further away from Godhood.
Osiris fell in love with Seth before any of them lost their memory. But Seth loved is twin brother, Horus the Elder back then. Osiris got jealous and plotted to have Seth killed Original Horus. Or even worse: make Seth believe he killed his lover while in fact it was Osiris doing. Or last possibility, he used his bothers elevation to godhood to seed discord, (you know having lost his memory an all) which might explain why New Horus felt so emotional when he understood he had to shade his memory away to become a god, because he technically already experienced it before. And the pain it cause. Thus choosing to remain a demi-god.
In any case, Seth got so emotionally unstable that he clanged to his family. But Nephthys beat Osiris to fill the space left by Horus. While Isis, who also loved her brother Seth deeply (after all she built a temple in his honour) put the ashes of his lover in her womb to preserve him. Or simply because she wanted to save Horus, regardless of if she did it for Seth or not.
Then they all forgot. Except Osiris. I am sure he remembers Horus. Then Osiris, seeing Seth found a new life with Nephthys, started seeking for a way to reverse that. He went to the library, killed everyone in the process overnight, then found out about the mirror, and to cover his track destroyed all evidence.
Then he started a war against Ra to retrieve said Mirror and get Seth to love him instead. Except that, once again, Nephthys altered his plan and was the one that fell in love with him, in place of Seth. I think the deal Osiris made with Nephthys was a cruel punishment toward her to dare step in his way, especially has she did that unknowingly. Like I imagine, he must have been furious inside. It was pretty insulting when you think of it to accept to “give” his sister, who was under a spell because of him, the baby she wanted, without touching her nor showing a single emotion, while taking away from her the power of creation. Only to use that power on Seth, especially after he heard from Nephthys that Seth thought that a child was proof of a couple's love.
Not to mention that his plan to take the result of that deal, Anubis, to create a completely different child with Seth was barely his sociopathic way of confirming his own love and his revenge on Nephthys. That Seth was on board or not. Walking over everyone’s emotion, trust and dignity in the process. This guy is so out of touch, he is on another planet, which I hope Cave Nephthys will find one day to kick his butt!
Now, about the part, I am still debating over is how they lost their memories.
I am hesitating between this happenings because they all elevated to godhood and lost their memories in the process, and another reason that I will explain down below. But I doubt it is due to their godhood process because the memory loss seemed to have happened after they all became gods. First because of the temple Isis built in Seth glory, which Seth forgot. Second because the representation of Horus in the Cave depict him with his headset. And they wouldn’t have temples nor headset if they weren’t already gods. Also I don’t think any of them were at any point demi-gods like Horus, or else people – especially Ra - would have mentioned it to them.
Also all three seems to be affected by memory loss except Osiris, so either Osiris was already a god when it all happened, then the three other followed after Horus death. Or all of them were already gods and something broke their memories. Plus I highly doubt that Seth would have accepted to forget his lover to become a god. Even to free himself from the pain of his grievance and guilt (I mean if he did murdered or believed he killed Horus, he definitely would feel guilt, something Osiris probably didn’t take into account). That is not who he is. He is an “I am going to endure it all, I am not weak” kind of guy. Like, I said pride and stubbornness run deep in the family.
So my second theory is that Isis used her magic to erase their memories. And here is why I think that:
Her magic is potent enough to have an effect on them all, even Osiris. She cursed them all, but she can also heal, and erasing memory is kind of her thing, since she tries to do that with Anubis right now in the story. She also cared deeply about Seth – They were best friends – and probably seeing him suffer made her choose to erase his memory. Except if they all remembered but him, it would take the risk to have Seth remember it all and hurt him even more. It also possible that the death of their brother affected all of them negatively, so for their preservation, she chose to erase their memories as well with something along the line of “all the pain cause by which you loved and miss will be erased”.
Seth forgot everything because how deep his love was, Nephthys forgot as well to erase all the pain caused to Seth and what was linked to it, which was Horus and Isis somewhat forgot as well but not her will to protect Horus, which she carried with her to this days. And either she forgot the ashes in her womb knowing that thanks to that Horus would reborn when her and Osiris would have child, or she remembered it and giving birth to Horus was a way to get back at Osiris, when she discovered his treachery. Although, I highly doubt she would have cast a spell that could have taken the risk to make her entirely forgot everything about her dead brother and his ashes in her.
Isis probably didn’t know about Osiris involvement in Horus’s death, which could explained why she went through with spell thinking it was the right choice. But, if true, I would bet she kept some trace of HTE in her memory, seeing that she renamed her son after her late brother. Maybe she only forgot that Seth loved Horus but not that he didn’t love Nephthys. Which is why she was disgusted seeing Seth intimate with Nephthys. And maybe she kept in he, the notion that “Seth is dangerous to Horus” explaining why she became so obsessed in “protecting” him.
I mean, Seth didn’t know Horus existed, she could have left him to some humans and go into hiding, he would have never found him, but instead, she used Horus to take revenge on Seth as if for her, Horus should feel even more hatred toward Seth than her. Which would be logical if she retained the idea of “Seth killed Horus”, not so much in the situation where Seth was only after her.
I mean she is the one who is a God, not Horus. She has way more power than her son, which is why she rules over Egypt right now. And she seems ingenious enough to have risen up against Seth when you think of it. Another curse would have suffice, seeing that the first one worked but instead she focused solely on protecting Horus. I know motherhood is strong and that she was traumatized, so logic hardly applies. But definitely something else was at play when she ran away. She is only moved by the notion of protection, but not by love. When you look at it carefully, she doesn’t love Horus, the way Seth or even her loved Anubis. She is obsessive over protecting him, but parental love is definitely absent.
Like I said: all the pain caused by which you loved and miss shall be forgotten. Not necessarily the person itself. She remember “protecting”, but all the love is gone.
And of course, the freaking goblin forgot nothing because neither did he loved Horus nor did he miss him after his death.
Now to Seth and Horus the Elder’s theory. I bet the manipulation in Horus’s death involved making Seth believe Horus cheated on him or was faking loving him.
Which is probably traumatized Seth to the point of marking deep in him the need to build a family and have a child. You know, when conform to a conservative mindset just to protect yourself when you feel like you are about to fall apart. He may have forgotten his pain of loss but not the desire for family unity. And once the object of his love was gone, he convinced himself than that void should be filled with something that all gods in couple around him have displayed, and this was what he was missing.
Osiris might have thought that Horus gone, he would have a free path to fill the gap but he didn’t plan on the choc of Horus’s death being so intense that it would do a 180 on Seth vision toward his definition of love and couple. Which, of course he didn’t, because Osiris do not know what actual love is and what it does to you. And this outcome probably made him even more obsessed. The snake thought it would be so easy for him, being the only male around in Seth perimeter, but no. Osiris was so little in Seth’s radar that he turned to Nephthys instead because she was safer. We love a bisexual soldier. And Osiris is maliciously clueless.
And at last, my reason to believe that Osiris hasn’t forgotten about Horus the Elder is because he barely is interested in Horus nor does he interact with him. He only react when Horus get too close to Seth as if he fears that, at any moment, Horus could yet again win over Seth, seeing how made for each other they were.
His rage is so palpable when Horus is stuck in the temple with Seth that he (spoiler) burns Bastet to punish her. He is doing everything he can to separate them. And it is not because a man is touching “his” Seth. It is because this one in particular is close to him. Osiris barely interact to prevent the caravan guys from raping Seth. He did punish them but still let it happen while he evidently could have stop them before any of it happened. In fact, he used them to break Seth and chose to “rescued” him when it was convenient; meaning when Seth would be worn out by the horror he went through he would see Osiris as his “savior” and the only person he can trust… Which of course didn’t work. Because that is not how love works nor how Seth works either. If anything it, push him further away, because this guy already went through hell because of Osiris. Realistically speaking: If he had a hand in it, he plotted to kill Horus, to make Seth single again; when Seth was too powerful, he reduced his role as guardian of Egypt, when Seth was too free, he send him to war; when Seth wanted a child, he took Seth seeds and father the child instead; when Seth confronted him, he used Anubis as a leverage to rape him. Seth has witness loss, cannibalism, battle, death and betrayal because of him… and nothing worked.
Like any abuser losing control over their prey, Osiris just use more violence and psychological warfare to force Seth into compliance, except Seth is the bloody god of War. There is no warfare this troglodyte that has never lift a sword can use on him, that will make him yield.
All that to say that Osiris has no problem letting other men ravage Seth if it means controlling him, he just sits back and watch, and only kill when he feels like it. But when Horus crosses the line, suddenly he is everywhere. He sent Anubis, he uses Bastet and later will threaten Hathor to take Horus so far away from Seth that he can no longer be involved with his lovely brother. That guy HATE Horus and wants him gone.
And at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if my theory about Isis erasing their memory wasn’t also another ploy of Osiris to make blank slate of Seth memories to get what he wants. And if all of this is to be true, when the upcoming fallout between Seth and Horus will happen - resulting in Seth leaving to find the library alone (probably while looking for Nephthys in the void) and Horus returning home to marry Hathor – I could see Seth discovering in the library all the shit Osiris did to all of them, helping him regain all his memory and finally turn his hire back to Osiris because for real, it is all is doing. And Ra’s. I mean there is no way seeing how she behave that she doesn’t know ANY of that.
Here, I think it sounds a bit better now. There is probably some grammar error left. I am bad at spotting them. Sorry about that and note to myself: Never write a long comment on my phone. Ever.
Don't wanna ruin this beautiful moment for anybody but i have a feeling that horus will die, which results in horus' history and achievements the god of war being forgotten, and he disappears.
