Wait I didn't realize how common that was but yes there's always the "I'll protect you!" Trope, like, I wish they were both strong af for once and work togheter, especially in this case it'd be more interesting

I hate how good stories are 99% good but keep nerfing the mc/uke
It's always big buff badass uke mc somewhat dies and comes back still a badass but like only 70% power and 10 centimeters less tall (that they compensate by being smarter and more experienced)
I can think of 4 easily and if I seach probably more it's a trope already
