Same, I am actually super disappointed with this direction. Because wow, what an innovative decision to trade plot for porn. Especially now that finding manhwas with good plot without sex is a challenge. This could (should) have been in the side stories like in the novel and not thrown in here. It's annoying.

I have nothing against this work being explicit. I knew it would be. Sure, when the first sex panel came out I was surprised since it deviated from the novel but I didn't have any dramatic feelings against it.

But was it necessary to have 4 nearly consecutive sex chapters breaking into a particular arc? They could have been spread out more or put in between thematic arcs and actually worked into something longer and slower-paced.
And why do so many manhwas do exactly this? Is it a trend of late 2024? To me these chapters didn't seem natural, but rather thrown in because readers begged for some action.

I am so sorry if this is way too outrageous of a take. I know I should just shut up and be grateful we are even getting the manhwa. So please let's not get this exchange get too heated getting forward at the end of the day this is just my insignificant opinion.

60 chapters and pure plot and only 2 chapters of sex and your acting like the story has turned into a porno it could've been a special but they found a way to integrate it into the plot, having this "vision" of the future confuses the mc cause if his future is so happy and bright with the person he loves them what about his determination to die? How will knowing he gets to live another day after the great dungeon cause him to act when the time to face his biggest fear actually comes? It's impossible for a visual novel to 100% follow the novel its based on, and compared to others this change doesn't harm anything neither the plot nor the characters itself. I might have been a bit too aggressive with my take. I admit I was influenced by the fact that this exact thing (throwing sex chapters in the middle of current arc) happened to 4 other manhwas I was reading so it felt like I have been swarmed with just sex chapters everywhere I looked. Which of course doesn't excuse that I am being overly critical here.

Did it need those 60 pannels of sex? For me it was a bit too much and too out of nowhere. Like I truly am sorry. I just didn't enjoy it. tags have been wrong many times before, specifically with shounen ai and yaoi. but i think the only one overreacting is you lol, these are all very tame complaints and you dont seem to be able to handle it. just getting upset in the replies lol
