Omg that’s what it is you just made me realize why I actually enjoy this so much and it’s bc he’s aware there’s a misunderstanding and playing into it even before when he didn’t know what the misunderstanding was he knew they weren’t on the same page about something but usually miscommunication tropes suck bc both parties are dense but this dynamic is sooo interesting
I’m gonna be honest, most of the time jealousy, slut shaming (kinda) and miscommunication are absolutely ass aspects of a story that make drop it. But RN I don’t even want them to get tgt for now because I enjoy the petty and fuck it attitude. Does the MC knows there’s a misunderstanding? Yes. Is he gonna fix it?
