We know know that when imprinted, ones(omega) tears will taste sweet to their alpha...and do you remember in the first timeline wherein as Aeroc dies—in his deathbed, having a dream about letting go of both Kloff and Rapiel, swearing he wouldn't disturb their life if there's a next one? As he slept for three days, he often cried and smiled in his sleep, as Kloff also kissed him, the tears came in contact with his mouth, and he stated somewhere around "What could he be dreaming of for his tears to be sweet" and then boom Aeroc died....I just thought that it's because he was liberated and finally free.
