The queen or the princess is so pitiful. First of all, she was betrayed by her own mother. And finding myself kinda relating to her, I could tell that she's both possessive and obsessive and probably has attachment issues. I mean, her parents didn't do it intentionally. However, the king kinda being neglecting towards the her mother who obviously was too attached to him(again, attachment issues and insecurities), makes her mother unable to focus on her. And from my conclusion, the queen didn't even lover her much either. She was clinging onto the princess as the source of hope. Kind using her for to get the attention she needs in a way. Secondly, the princess couldn't change, both because she has been hurt so badly and no one who's as diligent as FL was there. Ms.nannny does exist but she didn't manage to melt her hardened heart. Mr. Crow somehow managed to do it. But as he, himself admitted, he's quite selfish to genuinely care and touch her heart either. However, I find the relationship between Mr.Crow and the Queen interesting. They share a sort of bond tho not exactly a healthy one. But I am sure she hurts Mr.crow because she's trying to to prove herself that she doesn't care about him. I'm sure she has attachment to the MCs that has managed to reach her by showing genuine kindness (Even if it is not a warm and gentle one, FL, Mr.crow and ML did treated her like a human and didn't want anything in return for what they gave.). Yes, the queen is cruel. She has hurt many and punished her servants mercilessly. However, when it's shown that she hurt the MCs, I'm sure it's because she's trying to deny the things she feels for them. I am drawing conclusions like this because I kinda see myself in her(No, I am not a sociopath, just trust issues)
