I liked it, but it did not really exceed my expectations—like after reading the ending, I was like “Ok, so that’s how it ends.”
Sorry, but I think it would have been more interesting if the other characters who seemed interesting became really interesting…
Characters such as Ms. Cha Hae-in (and other S-rank Hunters) had so much potential but became bland and had little to no exposure at all, then suddenly she’s a love interest of Sung.
At first, I liked how the pacing was fast, but they be like “Oh, we have South Korea’s 10th S-rank Hunter,” then the other S-rank Hunters seemed insignificant and without purpose being on the story after the Jeju Island Arc. (Considering that their introduction was satisfactory, I even remember in the anime adaptation how Ms. Cha hae-in was introduced, she was like dancing-fighting, so cool, then…)
I know that the main concept is “Solo leveling,” but a strong character cannot be interesting without being surrounded by strong and interesting side characters.
Lastly, about the ending, I’m fine with it, like “ok.” Though, I believe there could have been many ways it could have ended.
Don’t mind me, I am just trying to fill this void of dissatisfaction I’m feeling ^^
