You know at the end of the day all of the shit wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for the evil adults around our cast of characters. The pastor who beat up Yiel the pharma people and Do Hyun’s parents who agreed to make him an accomplice to that experiment at such a young age and who did those things to Jaeyon and the other kids. The overly fanatic parents of Heesung who pushed him to squeal on Yiel and Do Hyun. They were all kids before they did their terrible crimes. They were molded to what they are as adults. Some can cope like Yiel others become mean like Heesung and the rare others who become numb to all the cruelty like the two MLs.
