no it’s no problem I just didn’t want to randomly drop spoilers lol. this part gets told much later in the novel (I don’t even think the current ongoing translations are there yet)
the ML that’s currently walking around isn’t the 17th one but the 117th. from like the 100th to the 110 (I think that’s the numbers but it might be 108. been awhile mb) went fully evil and started to try to destroy this world. so the “novel” makes 5 people the “main character” now to defeat this new “evil” (those 5 people include the FL’s grandfather and the FL’s friend’s grandmother” and the Saint for example. other 2 and the Saint aren’t ppl we’ve met in the manhwa yet tho).
btw this novel that FL went into had a part 2 which was where pretty much all this went down.
they somehow get this relic which can create a “save point” for the ML to forcefully regress to the point where he gets defeated which pretty much “seals him” so the 111th to 116th regressions (the first number “111th” might be wrong but it’s def up to 116) was him being sealed off technically outside of the world. and then FL came around and took the save point disk which freed him and he followed FL back to the 17 timeline where the 17th died and he took over (that’s why he was relearning how to read and be “normal”. also the reason why he’s afraid of the dark bc the sealed place was pitch black)
I didn’t want to spoil you on the whole plot so I just explained the save point part, sorry if it’s confusing

he has absolutely no plans to harm her unless Ailette says something like “for the Strict Order” and attacks him or some bs like that. he knows that she won’t and she wouldn’t do something like that so it’s all good.
after all for him, Ailette is literally is the only good thing left in the world
Oh yeah, he was probably very surprised to see her them, because after 117 returns he has never seen her in any of his return, so he probably see's her as his saviour and as an incognito.

Not sure if this is right, but he was already ready to kind of get out of that damned world after so much time and as she bought the flopy disk, I think she kind of gave him a passage to her world and then he just got interested as to who she was as in all his 117 returns he had never seen her, this is what I understood from other people are explaining, but I haven't read the novel, so I might me wrong
