• yes, eira is yanu's mate, but he went to the labyrinth ( that can hide it's presence) that's why yanu Always sensed in the north ( last time eira was outside the labyrinth) and now he has something in him that still hides his presence? Im not sure, i didn't read the novel
• Eiras actually being a dragons mate doesn't mean being yanu's only, so at some point they fall in love ( hard, after yanu discovers this ) and have to fight against others dragons
