i re-read the entire manga nd honestly i feel like theres just something iffy about their relationship it just feels like its not gonna last or end well.. theres this unhealthy attachment issue and extreme codependency im sensing, ik its not supposed to totally make sense bc its just an adult manga but come on believing the existence of a love potion that has the price of sleeping w the one who gave it to u is so iffy like ur a fully fledged adult w a job
