I just can’t with this manhwa. It always leaves me with mixed feelings, mainly because Yanu is so annoying. Even after reading some spoilers, he screams red flag. He has zero rapport with Eyra because he’s convinced his mate is still out there somewhere. He’s purposely keeping things shallow to avoid falling for his “play lover” in case he actually meets his destined mate one day.
It’s like being in a relationship where the other person isn’t fully devoted or committed. That kind of betrayal cuts deep. On top of that, there’s no chasing arc, literally none, at least based on the spoilers. It’s so frustrating, especially since the MC has liked Yanu from the start for who he is. It wasn’t until that specific event that Yanu started liking the MC, and then, just like that, boom, everyone’s suddenly happy. It’s so unsatisfying.
Also, I get that he’s a dragon and doesn’t function like a normal human, but that doesn’t excuse shit. He still sees things that way and is literally the embodiment of the "I only love you" trope. He’s only interested in his mate and no one else, often to the point of obsession.

Same sentiment. Their “romance” is so shallow. The actual plot is intriguing but the “foundation” of the main’s romantic relationship is so one sided the end result relationship is as you said not satisfying

Literally and the thing is the story is amazing. Like the tension, the conflict, the plot, everything but the romance. Im not saying its the worst but It's just so last minute it's so disappointing.
