That’s exactly wat he means. He’s in it for a long term relationship. He just doesn’t like marriage cuz he’s traumatized from his parents failed marriage.
Excuse me, what did he say at the very end? No marriage, then what's the point of the relationship?! (I know some prefer no marriage but I doubt that's what he means...)
