It lowkey feels the author noticed they made the ML too unlikeable and the story too slow paced that they decided to rush once they reunited and it wasn't done in a good way. It was cute in the beginning but as the story progressed (not very far) things kept dragging on and the misunderstandings aren't done properly. Once they finally reunited it was sosos rushed that it honestly just confused the hell out of me and it wasn't very satisfying.
