Yeah, if it’s very lowly rated like lower than 8. I usually check if it has rape or incest to be that low.
Yeah, I don’t trust anything under 9.0 stars. Some 8.9 pass my judgment but anything lower tend to be gross (￣∇￣")

Never trusted any critic in any medium, the works on this site included. If I initially like the premise I will give it a read no matter how low or high the rating. Never let anyone's opinion get a hold of your degree of enjoyment in any form of entertainment, ever.
