it shows that you haven't gone deeper in the novel. the violent behavior that he shows at beginning of the novel (referring to volume 1) is a product of his parents' cruelty and grayson's bullying (which shows in volume 3) in those volumes in the novel, you will realized that he's nothing but a flawed character. and the fact that he's afraid of the thought that he r word josh showd how vulnerable he is (he didn't btw) the progress is really good and this is not your typical toxic manhwa. in fact, chase is actually much better than keith. i have nothing against this comment, just wanna clarify things.

I’ll see, the raws are up to chapter 8 or 9 and he’s an absolute mad dog in there. I can’t imagine that he’s getting better in the next chapters - not saying that it’s not happening because, as I said, I’ve only read the raws not the novel. I just dislike asshole characters and won’t stick around for long if this behaviour won’t change till chapter 18-20 ^^
