You should try reading Here You Are if you haven't. While of course, it's fiction, but the struggles and conflict of the characters are very realistic, especially the MC (like how he navigates in the society as an openly gay man and everything, it's so good!).

he’s hot and all but that is still quite invasive for a housekeeper that’s literally a stranger. i mean, it would make more sense if they turned out to be like long lost friends or something
