Well I also think so, brother really did repent through multiple reincarnations and in the present life they had a good relation if I am not wrong....but for mc it's just the previous one and the present life plus the newly recovered memories and seeing hyoun's suffering, he just didn't get enough time to process the grief or separation from his love.... well as long as all of them finds their peace of mind
