Was he nesting already?

Did he wrap himself in the blanket like a marshmallow or is that how Lord Mugo left him after they were done?

I am pretty sure Lord Mugo did that, The wrapping is similar to a snake's cocoon. Snakes preferably do that so Mugo must've left him in that way to comfort him

Yeah I'll just take your word for it cause there's no way in hell I'm looking up a snake's nest/cocoon.
