Dude?? This is so good. Specifically Chiaki and Banzai considering there wasn't dubcon there (the bar is so low). But I love their character designs. idk Chiaki isn't the usual type I see in manga since he looks a lot like a person I would see irl (the straightness of his hair and his backwards hat lmao). But also, Banzai is fine af and Chiaki is so cute
The poetic ass title of the first story got me, though. I really love the translator's note on why it's called Rakka. Like, things that are deliberately ugly and unpoetic circle around to being poetic as hell. And the question if the seed of the fallen fruit will even sprout. That's some good shit.
Second couple is how I ended up here since I saw Mitsuka/Nectar was a sequel, but damn, the consent is ... :| which is a bummer cause I love their character design and I'm a sucker for the "you've ruined everyone else for me cause now I only want you" trope.
Idk, these were all really engaging shorts for various reasons. I love manga where you can see that the artist puts some artistry into the writing too
Also, Chiaki's so real for being a professional cleaner and cook but not cooking or cleaning for himself. "It doesn't work when I don't have someone to clean for" is so relatable.
