Okay HUGE spoilers. Abel is not the reincarnation of the very first original regas. The first OG Regas was actuallyyyyyyyy similar to the first body of Abel ╮(￣▽￣)╭ but he was a completely different person BUT HIS PERSONALITY IS ALSO SIMILAR TO ABEL hahahaha he’s funny and energetic. The way he was described in the novel was that he was not handsome and was considered ugly etc. He also had a big body like Abel’s big body. He was not blonde nor a twink. You might be wondering how did the obsession of the kings become the twink blonde regas? Well the first dragon that was with the OG Regas was a LEGIT DRAGON. He was a reallll dragon that transformed into a human if I remember correctly, but he was a full blooded dragon that protects the forest. He met the OG regas and they’re best buddiesssss but then the dragon is nearing death, the humans wanted the dragon to bless a human to become king etc etc. The dragon doesn’t want to, but the humans realize the dragon ONLY listens to the Regas. Being human and all, the regas convinced the dragon. That is why the Kings and their successor holds a portion of the power of the dragon. But the dragon had the OG Regas right? Well since the first King was human and cannot fully control the dragon’s power, they assigned regas. BUT they didn’t want to assign someone “ugly” like the OG REGAS so they gave the king twinky blonde regas (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ in history too they replaced the OG Regas from manly bulky guy to a very pretty knight. Basically erasing OG Regas since they found him ugly. Funny thing is they’re connected to the current body of Abel too hahaha I think the OG Regas was their ancestor if I remember correctly, unless I misinterpreted that chapter wrong. Honestly, I am pretty sure that from the very first panels of the story here it is shown that the first regas' partner was a real dragon. You see a knight atop a dragon in the tapestries.
