That's probably why the MTL and snipping flourished for a while. Some readers rather read MTL ahead than wait for human TL PR. And human TLs are squeezed out of competition.
Can't fault readers for having their own preferences, just as long as they don't vote 1* without even reading, for reasons like "reupload". That's what kills one's motivation to redo a good series.
