What I meant is that just because something is canon in live action doesn't mean it's canon in manga, for example One Piece. I can't think of a title right now but I'm pretty sure there was something that I watched that adaptation make some background characters going out with each other
I remember now for example Tauriel doesn't exist in the book version of Hobbit were there wasn't any romantic relationship or the book version of Howl moving castle where the story is pretty much totally different

(I'm not talking about secondary couples made just in the adaptation but actual change in the MCs probably because the original source didn't have an ending before the drama finished and the adaptation ended wrong)
