no, you're so right... I remember even tearing up during that part because of how touching it was (for me, at least) but it felt so glossed over
No literally that's when you can see how important Cale is to rain because he's sobbing so much but it just fell flat
Idk how I feel abt the pacing.. based on the novel I kinda imagine the whole coughing up blood to be way more dramatic not to mention Cale was supposed to almost fall off the ledge of a building/wall(??) Not be on the floor. But the whole fighting arc took 1 chapter
