...the issue isn't that the artstyle itself is bad, it's that it is so different that you can't even recognize the character's anymore. they even gave Seo Gangrim a different skin tone. that's low key audacious.
see, I was wondering who that guy hiding behind the stone was. was it the guy from the beginning who came in with shin Soo ah? I don't know. I don't recognize him anymore. and if you can't recognize the character's anymore it's over. easy as that.
i understand, really. the new art style practically lost the beauty and the essence of the old one, it's also hard for me to know who is who atm but it's just because as an artist myself, i feel kind of offended on behalf of the new artist/s in charge of this manhwa with most people in the comments calling the new art shitty and other insensitive bs. idk,, can we just appreciate the effort put into this work, drop it if we dont like it, and leave without hating so hard to the point it's like the art style change of this manhwa murdered your entire bloodline ,,,

well, I wouldn't go that far, but I think it's kinda a waste? like, I really like the story, it was different than many other things out there and I don't want to stop reading it, but I also don't want to look at Gangrim honestly, I don't really mind the change of most of them, but Gangrim hurts really bad.. he's a completely different person - I mean come on, they even changed his skin color? was that really necessary?
I know many people go a bit far in the comments, but I guess it's mostly Frustration bc the "new artstyle" treatment has ruined many stories recently and it's starting to get annoying to find a good story in-between all that mediocre copy paste stuff, just to have to drop it bc you "can't look at it" anymore..
