There is nothing with sharing opinions, that's not an issue. It's the overly dramatic opinions that could be other fans uncomfortable. Especially when people put themselves in Dan's position knowing full well, they aren't any different than Dan. Probably slight better or worse.
You can hate his actions, they are creepy atm, but you canna say "no change" when change is happening.
