Iirc he went overseas. It's part of the "future plotline" that has been going on in the Christmas/Chinese New Year specials since ch224 (if I'm not mistaken). In He Tian's own words, "he went off to start a business" (ch412), but it's probably related to his shady family business stuff and the arguing with his father.

NO CAUSE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, the most heartbreaking part is the fact that the box has been taped and then retaped at least twice or thrice which means little Mo opened and closed that box SO MANY TIMES, probably not being able to look at the memories he had with He Tian without being sad EVERY SINGLE TIME
