Exactly why I said that you dont understand addiction. Do is you think he is mentally sane and stable enough to realise the situation? He isnt “intentionally” doing it. He lives his whole life just wanting to be reunited with Shin so is it really HIS fault if he just wanted to meet Shin after living in a gd rehabilitation centre?

this is such a weird mindset, intent doesn't matter when the IMPACT is what actually affects people. you can have good intentions but if its harmful it still needs to be called out wether it be intentional or not. his addiction does not negate the damage he caused to himself and others, people like myself are ALLOWED to like him because of his behaviour. hurt people, hurt people but they DO NOT get a pass for everything.

idk why this person is defending Gren's crazy behaviour. people try to use addiction to get away with everything. in some cases it's a justifiable excuse but at some point there NEEDS to be a line drawn. it's like ppl are reading with their eyes closed because even SHIN HIMSELF is trying to draw boundaries with Gren

When did I try to justify his "current" actions?
OP said they didn't care about Gren and he literally gets so much unnecessary hate for being clingy with Shin. Sure he fucked up this one time but it gives people NO reason to hate him just blatantly. You're allowed to not like a character but I need a valid reason lol.
Also this current situation wasn't exactly his fault. How tf was he supposed to know that he was being tailed?
It would have made sense if people started not liking Gren after putting Shin in trouble like this but people haven't liked him from the beginning the sole reason being his character is very realistic.
Although I do agree i might have come off as overlooking wtv trouble Shin got in partly because of Gren and I do apologise for that
am i the only one who doesn't care about Gren? all he does is cry and get shot everytime
