Interesting...

Y'know I'm totally okay with "I can see whatever I can and say whatever I want" statement, but... is honestly so funny how people take this so, so serious that they even read this without liking anything about it. It's so curious to me, like they are morbid to know what happens and wishing half the characters AND the author death

I know right, I don't get it, if they're reading it, why do they need to spread all that hate...

I believe that when they go to a certain extreme, they forget that just like those English books we’ve read at school with horrid themes, that it’s a form of imagination, of storytelling, we see manwhas nowadays as things we don’t deeply interpret, but almost like fast fashion it’s churned out quickly and we don’t think twice about the process, we can read many manwhas, some of which we don’t even remember the names of or even the backstory of etc, though I do understand that updates play a part in easily forgetting, but my point is that we or certain people don’t even look at them as if they’re “books” anymore… but “brain rot almost”, so it easily disregards the thought process of authors and artists, and the efforts they put in, in comparison to traditional novels and such.

(Though, I won’t deny certain mangas/manhwas are “brain rot”)

I also think that it might be a way for them to release a feeling of guilt to feel a sense of “self-righteousness “, condemning such things, which as you have mentioned manwhas with genres/themes that they chose to read and continue to do so, which are in reality and in fiction horrible (rape, abuse etc), but they make it seem as if it’s completely representative of the author, now whilst it does say something about the author…that they can handle such dark themes, perhaps in such a light manner such as this…in a way, one can actually argue that it’s a fetish that the author writes such things but one can also argue that if it comes with a redemption arc, it’s rather “building plot” or showing “character development” of these characters, so rather, it’s the author being an author, doing their job at story telling, with whatever theme they are interested in.

At the end of the day….who actually knows. But comfortably sending death threats, is quite odd.

I didn't even notice my comment did not post completely TT.

Anyways I was saying that while that happend and saw a lot of English speakers (that I'm aware are not just USA or UK or AUS etc people) I do notice more of this behaviour in them, comparing this with the communities in my language which is Spanish. So is like a cultural shock to see people taking matter into this like they're the most ethical people in the world shaming others for thinking different from them or not throwing shit like they do.

I get what are you saying and it makes totally sense. Honestly I do think like that too, that some manhwas/comics/media exists for the plain reason of "brain rot". However when they put the morality or the ethical value of some of this characters makes me laugh, because there are a lot and a really really amount of characters like this so I don't understand why would yo put morals and ethics and who's this who's that when basically a lot of other characters are like this and they prefer to do comparison like is some sort of competition when none of them are... good people.

If the problem is the popularity of the manhwa and the personality, okay. I do agree with those, but saying this one is the worst one? Idk about that.

Is like people do forgive madness for good looking and charisma even if they're still bad people. It just don't make any sense to me.

Hmm I think the hate can be ignored cuz it won't stop, and honestly I don't see that happening even with the manhwa ending. However the way they express their discomfort is a little senseless, not their discomfort but the way they take the whole thing like it's the only shitty thing in the world. It's plain stupid.
