I think author nim won't go back to the past at all. She probably made a time skip. This story is a 4coma and she didn't make any chapters in the intial time line for too long. In my opinion, she is focusing in the now (which was the futur)
These glimpses into their future always leave me unsettled. I can't help but wonder how the author will deliver such a heartbreaking scene, especially since it’s been hinted that He Tian was gone for a long time, leading to Mo’s resentment toward him. And with his mother no longer in the picture, it’s heartbreaking to think of Mo being completely alone. ;(
