It's definitely been a few years. I'm pretty sure He Tian actually mentions he left to to start a business?? And as the person above said, there's a time skip from Mo having a final conversation with She Li and the start of the current time line, so we didn't see what happened. Maybe we never will, unless Mo and He Tian talk about it idk
i do think what happened in that time period will be revealed but slowly. i don’t think old xian would of introduced jian yis grandfather to be the boss of he cheng and qiu for no reason. i can see jian yis disappearance and he tians departure and the possible reason for why they are connected being the next underlying plot device. i do not believe jian yis father is really dead and also can see mos father making an appearance with mos mother likely out of the picture. i think the mafia side of the plot is going to kick in now. also unfortunately i do not believe that chapter was the end of she li and the last 400 chapters were just a tasting course for the angst old
xian will terrorise us with (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
I absolutely agree! Although the chapters are short and sweet right now, we're definitely on the way to delving further into how their three families are intertwined. I've never believed Jian Yi's dad died, it's like he needed to distance himself to protect his family and the grandfather is in mom's business bc he knows that man ain't dead. Idk. Also, She Li is definitely going to make a comeback; he seems too unnecessarily involved with Mo. Like there's wanting a dog at your feet and there's whatever he tried to instill into Mo.
Honestly, I'm just trying to savor the cute and refreshing chapters we're getting, but the pain and suffering is slowly creeping up and as much as I look forward to it, I'm not ready
My heart hurts for them. I know it's in He Tian's nature to insert himself into Mo's life no matter what they've got going on, but I'm curious to know how Mo is genuinely feeling after He Tian came back like he wasn't gone for so long. I really need them to open up and talk about their feelings. Clearly Mo was so in love and heartbroken
