I read from the novel that henderson will die in this war. Its sad, I really like the guy. He was given a medal of honor or something and his family was given a lot of gold. He was also cremated and buried in a place similar to a heroes' cemetery. This story spread all throughout the continent that even in death roman values his knights. So knights all over the continent applied to become a member of his knights when they heard he's recruiting again. Haha even a commander of kronus and a knight of valhalla applied.
