Pixie, you are a true gem. This was such an interesting chapter! Jaehyuk is gonna have to come clean to Garam sooner than later about purchasing the house for them to live. He has to trust that Garam will now understand why he did it under the guise of a housesitting for a friend because they weren’t on such good terms then. And this ex doesn’t look like he’s gonna go away easy. He seems sneaky and sus as hell. Though, I’m not too worried about him, Jaehyuk is not about to let anyone stand in the way of his relationship with Garam and that goes for his mom as well. Things are definitely heating up nicely!
- Jaehyuk uses another card to pay for their meal. They got in the car, and Jaehyuk's mom suddenly calls. Jaehyuk quickly rejected it. His mom then sends a message asking if he wants to die and telling him to pick up the phone. Garam looks at Jaehyuk suspiciously and asks what did he do.
- Jaehyuk's mom calls again, and Garam answered it before he could stop him. His mom screams at the phone, calls him a crazy punk and nags at him for using his card (Garam was so shocked).
- Garam asks about it, and Jaehyuk says he needed to spend about XX million won on something so he broke deposit. Garam asks him where he spent that much money, and Jaehyuk couldn't say that he spent it all on their house. Garam also nags at him, but Jaehyuk just calls him honey and snickers at how they really act like a married couple (Garam was flustered).
- Jaehyuk then remembers Garam's ex and gets pissed. He thinks that it's not that Garam didn't trust him that much, but it was because that bastard ruined Garam's first relationship experience that he went through a lot of trouble (in winning Garam over).
- The next day, Sehan (the ex) is waiting for Garam to arrive at the company. He remembers Jaehyuk and thinks that Garam doesn't suit dating a frivolous guy like him.
- Garam arrives but quickly walked past him. Sehan was disappointed, but then someone snapped their finger in front of him. It was Jaehyuk, and he's asking if Sehan wasn't taking orders.
