He taped the photos to protect He Tian “family/work/identity” situation or for something else?
Probably just him taping the face like a kid in 90's would back when blocking someone on sm wasn't a thing yet lol but probably in a good way and he probably hid it because he knew it was valuable
I think it just hurt to look at He Tians face after he left he missed him so much.
He wanted to forget him because it hurt to remember what he lost, but couldn't bring himself to throw away the sentimentals.
