The seasons are disproportionately long. The first is too long (54) and too detailed and too many side characters, and nothing romantic happens, the second (45) they decide to date only at the end and suddenly make serious deep promises to each other (why don't we live together in college?), and the third (35) just when it should have been nice, full of tantrums, nervousness, Skylar only gives breadcrumbs. It's a big imbalance between the seasons, stories, side characters, and the traumas could have been better woven into the story and so many other things...
It could have easily been two seasons of 50 chapters each, which would have made Skylar romantically move on to Cirrus by the end of the first season and no longer be in love with Chan-il. That is, the kiss from chapter 82 would actually be chapter 50.
For me, the love between our two protagonists is too little and too poorly presented for these 129 chapters in 4 years and a few months.
