I think he’s testing her a teeny bit more to see what her intentions are cause sometimes “selfless” stuff like that can just be for show to get closer to ppl. But I also think he’s doing it for entertainment to tease her a little cause he already gave up with keeping his walls up lol
I thought he already knew that she wasn’t after his money after she returned all the clothes that were bought with his card
