right? i don't see why he did that if throughout the story we didn't get a hint of doing something like that; his intentions looked "pure" so that came out of nowhere.
thx for letting me know because i was ready to add this on my to read list, i can't stand a tragic/sad ending.
Father died a hero, caged birth still in a different cage, and son extremely broken. I personally do not think this is a great read.
