Mc right now: 23y old
23 minus 4 = 19
So according to this, mc was 19 at the time and ex was 23. Now mc is 23 and ex is 27 (pls correct me if i'm wrong or there's something i don't know. I just don't see the logic here since mc is 23 and if you subtract that by 4, it's basically 19. He was 19! That's an adult. But there's also some countries who have different opinions on what can be considered an adult so it really depends)

Sorry but this is based on the info i have. Bro is currently 23 and there's a 4 year age between him and ex, so no way in hell was he 16 at the time. I'm not trying to be rude but your comments make absolutely no sense. I don't see the logic. Either a mistake was made when translating or maybe you're just wrong, dear. Mc (according to what you said) was 16 in the past and ex was 20, which means there's a 4y age gap. Mc is 23 now, right? And since 23 minus the age gap between him and ex(4) is 19, how the tf was mc 16 back then? Like make it make sense
